RMHS Drama presents "Harvey"

Second of two winter shows takes place Mar. 2-4 at the William Endslow Performing Arts Center

Reading, Mass. – Feb. 12, 2018 – This morning, the Reading Memorial High School (RMHS) Drama Club announced that the second of its two winter shows, “Harvey,” takes place Mar. 2-4 at the William Endslow Performing Arts Center at Reading Memorial High School.

“Harvey” is a comedy about an unassuming man and his imaginary friend: a 6’ 3” rabbit. Penned by American playwright Mary Chase, it opened on Broadway in 1944 and earned Chase a Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1945. It has been adapted for film and television several times, most notably in a 1950 film starring Jimmy Stewart.

“’Harvey’ is a fun, lighthearted comedy,” said Natalie Cuhna, director of the RMHS Drama program. “The students love the format, and are excited to bring this classic production to our community.”
