Rocket Star Healy Named State Player of the Year

Reading High School senior Olivia Healy was recently named Massachusetts Player of the Year by Gatorade.

The 2012-13 girls basketball season didn't end with the hardware Reading High School players had hoped. But one Lady Rocket didn't leave her final season empty handed.

While the locals fell to Medfield in the state semifinal, suffering their first and only loss of the year, senior standout Olivia Healy was recently named the Massachusetts girls basketball Gatorade Player of the Year.

According to a press release from Gatorade, Healy is the first player from the school to receive the award.
