Rockets Win Shootout vs. Wakefield

The Rockets came out firing on Wednesday as they recorded 28 shots on the Wakefield goalie. Nine of them found the back of the net in a 9 to 6 win to improve their record to 2 and 0 on the season. Dan Cozzi scored 5 goals and added an assist to lead the Rockets offense.  Kevin Tobin scored on a pass from Dave McDermott and added two assists. Nate Walker got his first of the year; Captain Andrew Bourque powered a goal through and sophomore Colin Doherty took a beautiful pass from Ray Cozzi to complete the scoring. The Rockets dominance in the middle of the field was the difference today as they converted 70% of their face offs and won the ground ball battle with Joe Merullo scooping up two big ground balls late in the game. The Rockets will travel to Belmont for their first away game on Friday; game time will be 4:30PM at Harris Field in Belmont. Go Rockets!
