Salem Street Resurfacing On Tuesday
Street will be open to through traffic in one direction only.

The resurfacing of Salem Street is expected to begin Tuesday, Aug. 8.
The work will be on Salem Street from the Town Hall to the I-95/ Route 128 rotary. Salem Street will be open to through traffic in one direction only. Local residents will be able to access their property. Traffic delays are expected; therefore motorists should allow extra time for commutes, particularly during rush hours. Police will be on-site to assist in the traffic flow.

Parking will not be allowed anywhere in the work zone and will be strictly enforced by the Reading Police Department. Residents on Salem Street are asked to have their trash and recycling to the curb
on their scheduled day no later than 6:30 a.m. to ensure pickup.
