Search Underway for New Reading High School Assistant Principal
Current assistant principal Mike Scarpitto has announced his retirement.

Reading Memorial High School Assistant Principal Mike Scarpitto will retire at the end of this academic year and that means the search is on for his replacement.
Reading Schools Human Resources Director Micheala Saunders has outlined the timeline for the search and hiring process beginning with the assembly of a screening committee.
“The role of the committee is to screen and interview the qualified pool of candidates with the goal of providing the principal with a subset of candidates that the committee feels would be a good fit for the position here in Reading,” according to an announcement on the schools’ website. The principal will select the finalists and make a recommendation for hire to the superintendent.
