I am writing this note to show my support for the candidacy of current State Sen. Jason Lewis. My first dealing with Sen. Lewis involved a local issue that required immediate State aid to solve a serious safety issue in the Town of Reading on a State highway. While the issue began before Sen. Lewis took office, he was very interested in getting a first hand knowledge of the problem as well as the proposed solutions. He surprised all of us when he requested a site visit, an action that his predecessor failed to do. Working on a bipartisan basis with Rep. Bradley Jones and Rep. James Dwyer, Sen. Lewis provided a third leg of support by working in concert to get the solution implemented. In the process, I found Sen. Lewis available, approachable, and sincerely interested in finding the proper solution. In the end, the project was implemented in an incredibly short amount of time. I have found Sen. Lewis to be a solid advocate for assisting local communities within his district and I will endorse and vote for him in the upcoming elections. I strongly recommend his candidacy to you for your favorable vote.
