Driver Killed In Reading Crash
A woman was killed in a head-on collision on West Street Thursday.
READING, MA — A woman was killed in a head-on collision on West Street Thursday, police said. Officers were called to the 400 block of West Street at 11:21 a.m. for a two-car crash.
The driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are not publicly identifying her.
The driver of the other vehicle declined medical attention. Both drivers were the only people involved in the crash, according to police.

West Street was temporarily closed from the intersection of Willow Street and Summer Avenue to Johnson Woods Drive. The crash is under investigation.
