St. Agnes conducted its 3rd annual outdoor Mass & Picnic this past Sunday on the grounds of Austin Prep High School. It was the perfect second day of summer with a generous mix of sunshine and fair weather clouds, much to the enjoyment of all.
Mass was concelebrated by Fathers Steve Rock & Ed Malone with musical support from the Life Stream choir.
Following the service, all were treated to barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by the Knights of Columbus. Kids of all ages then enjoyed participating in a variety of games which included corn hole tossing, tugs of war, whiffle tennis and kick ball. Face painting was an instant hit once again.
As in the previous two years, the event was very well attended by parishioners, their families and friends. As Father Rock exclaimed: "It's a perfect coming together to experience faith, friendship and food."
