Sylvain Tremblay Passes Away

Sylvain J. Tremblay, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 26. He was 69 years of age.

Born in Mont - Joli, Canada Sylvain is the son of the late Abel and Marie - Jeanne (Dechamplain) Tremblay.

Sylvain loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved to take trips to Florida for Bike Week. He was a member of the Reading Knights of Columbus Council 1031 for many years.
Sylvain loved to work. He was the proud owner of Doucette Moving in Reading for many years. Upon his retirement, Sylvain enjoyed working for Lannon Chevrolet.

Sylvain is the beloved husband of Laurie (Allard) Tremblay. He is the loving father of Isabelle Tremblay, Vincent Tremblay, Jacqueline Tremblay and Gabrielle Tremblay. He is the step father of Sarah DellaVolpe and Nick DellaVolpe. Cherished grandfather of Bastien, Adele and Elena Tremblay. He is survived by 5 siblings and pre-deceased by 2. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday Nov. 30th in the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St., Reading from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Graveside Service in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Elm St. in Stoneham.
