Football field to bear Hollingsworth name. In a unanimous decision that was unexpected even by some of its members, the Reading Public School Committee to overturn its February decision to not name the high school’s football field after former coach and educator John Hollingsworth. The decision delighted the approximately 25 Hollingsworth Field supporters at the meeting, some of whom had about Mr. Hollingsworth.
30 Haven project still in question. The Board of Selectmen and Reading Housing Authority met this week to try to reach some kind of agreement with Oaktree Development.
