Senior captain Meg Kelly scored 25 minutes into the first half to give Reading a 1-0 lead, but Burlington tied it with just two minutes left in the game to end it in a draw.
"She's got great speed and a great hunger for the ball," said head coach Mike Sheedy, whose team now sits at 1-1-1. "She does a great job of beating out defenders."

Reading will travel to take on Melrose on Thursday at 6 p.m.
BOYS VARSITY SOCCERBurlington 1, Reading 0:
Senior captain and sweeper Chris Welch along with senior midfielder Charlie McRae both played well for Reading (0-3), but the Rockets failed to score in the loss.

"It was a tough one," said head coach Dan McGrath. "I think we had the better half that first half. We had four or five chances, but we just couldn't find the back of the net."
Reading will host Melrose at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
Burlington 1, Reading 0:
Burlington scored with two minutes left in the game to drop the Rockets to 0-2-1 on the season.
Despite the loss, head coach Mark Bemister liked what he saw from center back Matt Callahan.
"He was outstanding," said Bemister. "He won the ball in the air and on the ground. He was all over the place."
The J.V. team will face Melrose at home on Thursday at 3:45 p.m.
