Vacant, Gravel-Filled Reading Lot To Become Business Office
After Pizza World move fell through, 306 Main Street has been vacant and up for sale.

You may not be able to buy a pizza at 306 Main Street in the future, but at least the site will have an occupant.
TLAS LLC, a Danvers-based limited liability company, purchased the Reading site in 2013 for $150,000 and on June 27 sold the property to Ax Mortgage Corporation of Malden for $325,000. According to Frank Pasciuto, owner of Pasciuto Associates Real Estate, 306 Main Street will be the future address of a two-story office building, with a real estate, mortgage, and insurance company.
If the two-story building sounds familiar, it should. In 2015 Pizza World had plans to build a 32-seat restaurant on the site and it was approved by the town on May 27, 2015. But the plans fell through and the property, sitting between the Bank of America ATM and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, has been a dusty, dirty empty lot since. And even though Pizza World has changed hands, it still received an extension until 2018 from the town on its plan to move. But with the sale, there will be no pizza now.
