Volunteers Needed For 21st Annual Library House Tours
Library needs hosts for May 6 event that will showcase 10 Reading homes.

The library is looking for volunteers for the 21st annual Friends of the Reading Public Library House Tour on Sunday, May 6, from 1-5 p.m.
The House Tour is the Friends’ largest fundraiser and the proceeds provide funding for many important programs and needs at the Reading Public Library. This year’s theme is Transformation. Volunteers are needed at each of the 10 homes in the tour to help guide visitors and answer questions.
Volunteers will receive a ticket in exchange for two hours of volunteer time, however, the library is asking for a donation of $10 toward the regular ticket price of $25 in order to offset some of the expenses incurred by the tour. Your host/hostess packet will include an envelope if you would like to send a donation to the Friends.

Volunteers should indicate if they would prefer the 1-3 or 3-5 time slot. If you have no preference you will
be scheduled where needed. Organizers also understand that two hours can be a long time to stand and chairs will be provided for anyone who feels that they might need one. Also indicate if you would like to host at the same location and time with a friend who is also volunteering and organizers will do their best to accommodate you.
If you would like to volunteer or have just have questions, contact Liz Krugman at ekrugman@comcast.net.
