Patch Video Battle of the Bands 2012 is here!
More than 20 bands from across Eastern Massachusetts submitted videos of original songs over the past two weeks to multiple area Patch sites in hopes of taking home the top prize.
First off is a regional round in which we pit bands and musicians from the North Shore and Merrimack Valley against one another. They will square off to win bragging rights in the area, a cool prize and a chance to go to the final round and win a rockstar prize pack!

The field for the North Shore/Merrimack Valley round is strong with musical tastes ranging from rock to jazz to pop to metal.
Voting for the regional round will run until noon on Friday, May 4. Please vote by telling us your choice in the comment section below the article. One vote per person per day please.

The winner of the this regional North Shore/Merrimack Valley round will win two hours of recording time at The Space in Lowell.
Those musicians, along with the second place finisher in this regional round, will then square off against the top two finishers from and
The winner of the final round will win a rockstar prize pack! The grand prize winner will headline a gig at The Harp in Boston, as well as receive a cut/color at Avanti Hair Salon, a party bus ride around Boston on Bustonian Party Bus and lunch at M.J. O'Connor's!
