Winchester Boys' Hockey To Face Reading
Wednesday's first-round tournament game will be held at Chelmsford Forum.
It took an extra three days but the Winchester boys' hockey team finally has an opponent.
Following Saturday's pairings announcement and Monday's Super 8 play-in games, Division 1 North was finally seeded and the Sachems are the No. 7 seed in the field of 10. Winchester will face the No. 10 seed, Middlesex rival Reading, on Wednesday at the Chelmsford Forum at 6 p.m. The teams have played twice this year with the Sachems winning each game 3-2.
The winner of the first round game will face No. 2 seed St. Mary's in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

Following is the seeding for Division 1 North: 1. Arlington (12-5-4); 2. St. Mary's (12-6-4); 3. Newburyport (12-3-6); 4. Waltham (14-5-2); 5. Medford (12-4-4); 6. Austin Prep (13-7-1); 7. Winchester (12-7-2); 8. Belmont (10-6-4); 9. Melrose (11-8-1); 10. Reading (10-8-2).
