Wingate At Reading Names New Administrator

New Director of Admissions also part of Wingate changes.

A release from Wingate Healthcare:

READING — Wingate at Reading, a skilled nursing community owned and operated by Wingate Healthcare, named Michelle Katz administrator and Kaitlyn Cullinane the director of admissions. Katz and Cullinane join the community’s new leadership team.

Previously the administrator of Wingate at Weston, Katz has 10 years of long-term care experience. Cullinane joins Wingate at Reading with more than 15 years of experience in mental health, skilled nursing and long-term acute care.

Katz served as administrator and executive director for senior living communities throughout Massachusetts, as well as a community in Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Health Science from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Health Administration in long-term care management from Ohio University.

“I enjoy making a difference in the lives of seniors when they can’t be at home,” Katz said. “And, I like how Wingate is truly family-oriented. They have high expectations to ensure staff and residents feel like they’re part of the family.”

Cullinane has served as director of admissions for Careone at Newton and admissions associate for Kindred Healthcare. In addition to her long-term care experience, Cullinane has worked as a practice specialist and patient care coordinator for Tufts Medical Center, and as a mental health counselor for Walden Behavioral Health. Cullinane holds a Bachelor of Science from Fitchburg State University.

“I enjoy working in rehab facilities because I get to see patients progress, get stronger and return to their homes,” Cullinane said. “I take pride in making sure all patients’ needs are met, and I look forward to serving the patients here at Wingate.”
