Woman Says 'Nearly Bitten' By Dog; Sign Thrown Through High School Window

Tuesday, July 22
- At 5:13 a.m., police responded to Reading Memorial High School for a report of vandalism. Custodian reported that a sign was thrown through the window.
- At 6:51 a.m., a mother reported a near bite from a pit bull while on a walk in the Susan Drive area
- At 12:21 p.m., a report of harassing phone calls was reported. A resident on Washington Street said he/she was receiving scam calls
- At 12:23 p.m., police responded to a report that someone lost their black and white leather pocketbook at Oye's Restaurant
- At 1:21 p.m., police checked in on Market Basket, where some 30 people and four employees were in the lot and by the road with signs
- At 2:26 p.m., a call of a possible sick fox came in, Summer Ave.
- At 3:19 p.m., a person on Woburn Street complained that she found dried blood spots behind her car
- At 3:57 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash on Haverhill Street. No injuries.
- At 6:47 p.m., a report from Cumberland Farms on Salem Street said that an employee saw someone get gas and drive off. It was a 2014 gray Jeep Patriot
- At 10:07 p.m., police responded and called an ambulance for a boy who had an allergic reaction to pine nuts, Carnation Circle
