Man Robbed at Knifepoint on Wellsmere Road in Roslindale

The victim said three suspects boarded the same MBTA bus at Forest Hills, got off at the same location he did, and followed him to eventually rob him.

 

A Roslindale man said three suspects robbed him with a knife to the throat after following him off an MBTA bus to Wellsmere Road.

On Sept. 28 around 10:04 p.m., police spoke with a victim who said that three hoodied suspects boarded the same bus as him at the Forest Hills station. When the victim got off at Beech Street, and walked down Wellsmere Road, so did the three suspects, according to a Boston Police report.

The suspects followed the victim to his home, then one grabbed him from behind while another held a knife to his neck. The suspects stole a cell phone and iPad.

The suspects allegedly fled up Wellsmere Road and turned right onto Kittredge Street. A search of the area was fruitless.
