15th North Shore Pride Parade, Festival Set For Salem This Weekend
Gov. Maura Healey and Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll are expected to speak at the festival on Salem Common.
SALEM, MA — North Shore Pride is celebrating its 15th year with the annual Pride parade, festival and after-party in Salem on Saturday.
The parade and festival are scheduled to happen rain or shine, with parade lineup beginning at 11 a.m. at Shetland Park, the parade starting at 12 p.m., and the festival beginning at 1 p.m. at Salem Common.
Gov. Maura Healey and Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll are scheduled to speak at the festival at 1:15 p.m.

"Whether you're marching, cheering from the sidelines, or planning where to meet friends, now is the perfect time to map out your day," North Shore Pride said. "Bring your pride, your friends, and your energy as we come together to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community and allies across the North Shore."

Those attending are advised to plan ahead by taking the Salem Ferry or the commuter rail.

There will be two free after-parties at 5 p.m. One is for adults at BitBar, 278 Derby St., with free entry. The other is for youth ages 11 to 23 at NAGLY, also with free entry.
