SALEM, MA — A Salem brewery is donating $1 from every pint sold on Wednesday nights in June to North Shore LGBTQ+ youth as part of its Pints with a Purpose community fundraiser.
East Regiment Brewing said it will direct June donations to NAGLY through the weekly pint sales. The brewery said the goal of Pints with a Purpose is "to give back to our community while being social and making connections" during Pride Month.
One dollar from each pint sold from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays will be donated to NAGLY.
NAGLY empowers LGBTQ+ youth to thrive through community, education, advocacy, and support.
The brewery said that NAGLY "is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where every young person is seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are."
NAGLY offers programs, leadership opportunities and resources intended to help youth "build confidence, connection, and resilience."
NAGLY representatives are set to be at the brewery on Church Street on June 10 for those who want to learn more about how to get involved and what NAGLY does.
