PEABODY, MA — Food service managers and other restaurant senior employees in eight North Shore communities can sign up for a free food safety leadership training through the North Shore Public Health Collaborative.
The program is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is aimed at workers across Beverly, Danvers, Lynn, Marblehead, Nahant, Peabody, Salem, and Swampscott.
The June 23 training at Lynn City Hall is open to participants who live in those communities or are employed there.
The training is geared particularly toward managers and other persons in charge, according to the announcement.
To reach more workers across the region, the training will be offered in both English and Spanish. The bilingual format is intended to better serve the diverse workforce across the North Shore.

The English session is from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The Spanish session is from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
