Summer at the beach is getting a major soundtrack boost. 92.5 the River announced this week that the iconic 90s alt-rock band Spin Doctors will headline the station's 24th Annual Riverfest Music Festival on the Broadway Boardwalk at Salisbury Beach.
The free, rain-or-shine festival is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Joining the Spin Doctors on this year's lineup are Buffalo Tom, Fantastic Cat, and local favorite Gavin Marengi, a singer-songwriter with deep roots in Salisbury.
"We're excited to return to the Salisbury Beach Boardwalk for Riverfest 2026," said Olivia Lowe, Music Director of WXRV/92.5 the River. "There's something magical about live music by the ocean, and this year's lineup captures everything our listeners love about 92.5 the River—iconic artists, exciting new discoveries, and outstanding local talent".
The event is presented by Bud Light and produced in partnership with the Salisbury Beach Partnership. Beyond the music, attendees can explore the Broadway Boardwalk's local businesses, restaurants, and arcades, or visit the Bud Light Beer Garden and Tito's Handmade Vodka POD Bar.
Getting to the Festival
Organizers are encouraging festival-goers to plan ahead for travel, as the event typically draws large crowds. While there are over 800 paid municipal parking spots available, attendees are encouraged to consider ride-sharing or public transit.
