SALEM, mA — Salem artists, artisans and small businesses have until Aug. 31 to apply for a spot in the Salem Arts Association's Holiday Artist's Market, a Small Business Saturday event set for Nov. 28 at Old Town Hall in downtown Salem.
The daytime market will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the historic venue. Admission is free, and the market averages 2,500 to 3,000 visitors.
The Salem Arts Association said the gathering of artists and makers offers a chance to showcase work and connect with an audience that values craftsmanship and creativity.
The organization says the market brings together a diverse and welcoming community of artists and makers.
The market features independent artists, artisans, makers and small businesses offering well-curated goods. Makers of clothing, homewares, prints, photographs, ceramics, jewelry and other handmade items are encouraged to apply.
The day also includes live music and character performers.
The Salem Arts Association says applicants will be notified of acceptance on Sept. 7.
