• Salem nonprofit gives hundreds of kids access to sailing (wcvb.com) — Sail Salem is opening up Salem Harbor to 300–400 local kids each season, teaching them sailing, confidence, and leadership right on the city's historic waterfront. Scholarships, gear, and even meals ensure cost isn't a barrier, while former campers now return as instructors and board members. The nonprofit's inclusive approach especially welcomes kids from underrepresented backgrounds into Salem's maritime culture.
