Peabody Education Foundation Picked For Shaw's Bag Donation Progra

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Education Foundation has been selected for Shaw's "GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS" Reusable Bag Program for November 2026.

During that month, shoppers who buy a $3 reusable bag at Shaw's, 128 Essex Center Drive, will generate a $1 donation to the foundation.

The program is designed to connect routine grocery purchases with local nonprofit support. The program launched in March 2019 and has donated almost $380,000 to more than 2,700 nonprofit organizations since it began.

The Peabody Education Foundation said the fundraiser is intended to raise both money and awareness.

The work supports students in Peabody by funding programs and technology that may not otherwise be available through school budgets.

The monthlong campaign offers a simple way for residents to contribute while shopping locally. The foundation is also asking supporters to spread the word before and during the November fundraiser.
