Annual Veterans Day Ceremony Takes Place Next Wednesday
The day's events will also include the unveiling of a new veterans memorial.

At 11 a.m. on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, the Salem Veterans Council is holding its annual Veterans Day ceremony at the Salem High School Auditorium.
Once again the city will be presenting the Salem Wartime Service Medal to all eligible Salem veterans. These current medals are a replica of a medal the city presented to returning WWI ‘Doughboys’ as a token of gratitude for their service.
Please let the Salem Veterans Agent at 978-745-0883 know if you have a family member, neighbor, or friend that might be eligible to receive this recognition from the city.
