Heritage of Sherborn is continuing its popular monthly wine dinner series with a trip to Argyle Winery located in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Beginning at 6:30PM, guests will explore the New World’s coolest latitudes while enjoying a four-course dinner perfectly paired by Chef Josh Ziskin. The evening will begin with passed antipasti in Heritage’s wine cellar, including house-made bacon, grilled peach, corn bread, salmon crème fraîche and grilled bread, paired with Argyle’s signature sparkling wine. Guests will move upstairs where they’ll sit down for a Hazelnut Salad with cheese from Oregon, paired with a Riesling followed by clams served with grilled and Chardonnay. Chef Josh brings flavor to the forefront of the main course with Lamb loin red quinoa, including grilled farm vegetables paired with the Spirit House Pinot Noir, followed by a delectable dessert course. In addition, the wines that are featured throughout the evening will be offered at Heritage’s Coffee, Wine and Provisions Shop conveniently located on site, at a discounted rate for attendees. The cost is $75 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), and reservations are required by calling Heritage of Sherborn at 508-655-9521.
