Arlington, Salem Men Charged With Sex Offenses In Salem: Police
Salem police said a city man was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and an Arlington man was charged with enticing a minor.

SALEM, MA — A 44-year-old Salem man and 72-year-old Arlington man were charged with sex offenses following separate recent investigations, according to Salem police.
Police said on Wednesday that Walter Crayton, 44, of Salem, was charged on Aug. 10 with failure to register as a sex offender and possession of child pornography. Police said Crayton was charged after a multi-month Criminal Investigation Division detective investigation.
Police also said that Nathan L. Goldshlag, 72, of Arlington, was charged on Aug. 18 with enticement of a child under 16. Police said one of their detectives, posing as a minor, conducted an online sting operation and investigation. Police said the officer was trained in detecting online predators.
