Artoberfest Returns To Salem Arts Association Galleries
The annual Halloween-season exhibition will include an in-person and online gallery starting Sept. 3 and running through Nov. 6.
SALEM, MA — Artoberfest is returning to Salem this fall with an in-person and online gallery and is looking for submissions.
The Salem Arts Association exhibit, which explores the history, inspiration and interpretations of Halloween, witchcraft and autumn in New England, will host the gallery at 159 Derby Street starting Sept. 3.
Erica Feldmann of HausWitch will act at the exhibition junior of this year's event.

Submissions are due next week with dropoffs accepted Aug. 29 from noon to 5 p.m at the Salem Arts Association.
Notification of acceptance will be made via email by Sept. 2 with unaccepted work available for pickup by appointment on Sept. 4 from noon to 5 p.m. and Sept. 5 from noon to 5 p.m.

The exhibition will run from Sept. 3 through Nov. 6 with an opening reception on Sept. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Viewing hours at the gallery are Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Exhibited pieces can be picked up on Nov. 7 from noon to 5 p.m.
The submission fee is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
Salem has an indoor mask requirement for all businesses starting on Aug. 23. All other coronavirus protocols will be strictly enforced.
