Baby Shower Ends with Fight

Police asked attendees at a late-night baby shower at a hall on Boston Street to pack it up for the night after getting a report of a fight in the parking lot.

At about 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, police got a report of a large fight in the parking lot of the hall.

When police got there, the “combatants had fled the scene,” according to the police report.

Police talked to the person who rented the hall for a baby shower. That person said that some people that were not known to the guests showed up at the hall and started fighting.

The party was ended for the night, at the request of the police, and the attendees were escorted off the premises.
