Be a Pal and Adopt a Cat This Weekend
PALS Animal Life Savers is taking part in the PetSmart National Adoption Weekend this Saturday and Sunday.

If you have been thinking about adopting a cat, this weekend could be the time to do it as PetSmart Charities is holding its National Adoption Weekend.
PALS Animal Life Savers, will be at the Pet Smart Adoption Center at 10 Traders Way on Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. PALS is Salem’s only all-volunteer feline rescue group, prides itself in helping local stray, abandoned, and surrendered cats and kittens. From medical care to foster care, through to adoption and ongoing advice, PALS assists over 300 cats each year.
In conjunction with PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend November 14 & 15, PALS will be giving away PALS tote bags to every adopter and donor.
If you are not ready to adopt, the organization’s foster homes rely on donations of food and litter, and its Adoption Center is always thrilled to accept homemade fleece or knit blankets for its cat beds. They are also looking for volunteers to assist with web development, marketing, and FCS (feeding, cleaning and socializing.)
