It’s shaping up to be a nearly perfect Thursday in Salem.

Today’s forecast calls for a high of 78 degrees with low humidity and no chance of rain.

Tomorrow looks just as good for that end of the summer trip to the beach or finishing up back-to-school shopping, with a high of 77 degrees and once again, no chance of rain.

Things will cloud up a little bit as the weekend rolls in, with a chance of light rain by Sunday.
