Beverly Defeats Salem 46-21 in Thanksgiving Game

Witches lose, despite a fourth quarter rally.

After the Witches put the first touchdown on the board, the Beverly Panthers scored 46 unanswered points and ultimately went on to defeat their 113-year rivals 46-21.

Salem's last two touchdowns came during a fourth quarter rally. 

Junior QB Christian Dunston made several completions. Hard running came from senior David Walsh.

Touchdowns came from Senior Edwin Alcantara and Senior Captain Fernando Cabrera. The final touchdown was scored by Junior wide receiver Ben Kapnis on a 43-yard pass from Dunston.

The Beverly and Salem High School bands performed at half-time. The SHS band celebrated its conductor's 25th year at the helm.
