Early, in-person voting is available in addition to the 6,600 mail-in ballots that the Beverly City Clerk's office said were sent out on Oct. 7.
Those can be returned by mail or hand by the time polls close on Election Day to the clerk's office as well as left in one of the city's voting drop boxes located at City Hall at 191 Cabot Street, Fire Headquarters at 15 Hale Street and at the Beverly Farms Fire Department at 2 West Street.
Beverly City Clerk reminded early and absentee voters to sign the envelope above the label with the name and address on it.
"By law, we cannot accept your ballot without your signature," she said. "If we receive your ballot
without your signature, we will need to reject your ballot and send you a replacement one to fill out."
Mail-in ballots cannot be accepted at the polls on Nov. 8.
Those with questions are encouraged to call the City Clerk's office at 978-605-2324.
