Salem Presidential Primary Registration Deadline, Early Voting

Seven days of early voting ahead of the March 5 primary will be held at Salem City Hall Annex.

SALEM, MA — The registration deadline to vote in the March 5 presidential primary is on Saturday with seven days of early, in-person voting to begin that day as well.

The City Hall will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday for registration, which can also be done online here.

Completed applications for a ballot-by-mail must be received at the City Clerk's office by 5 p.m. on Feb. 27 with ballots returned by 8 p.m. on March 5.

Early voting on Feb. 24 will be at the City Hall Annex from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 26 through Feb. 28, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 29 and 8 a.m. to noon on March 1.
