Beverly, Salem Styrofoam Recycling Events Set For June
The two cities will combine for events in Beverly on June 23 and Salem on June 24.
SALEM, MA — Beverly and Salem — the two coastline neighbor cities that have combined efforts as part of the Resilient Together project — will each host a recycling event for styrofoam packaging on the same weekend in June.
Residents will be able to drop off products such as packaging for television sets and those products will be recycled into such items as insulation for walk-in refrigerators or boat seating.
Food service containers and "peanut" packaging cannot be accepted at this event.
