Individuals born after January 1, 1989, will require the Certificate this year, while older individuals will not require it until 2028.

About Sail Salem
Founded in 2007, Sail Salem runs a community sailing program that includes summer sailing camps for youths ages 8 to 18. Registration for this summer is now open. In addition to sailing instruction, the camp curriculum includes STEAM education with emphasis on boating safety and sustainability.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Sail Salem relies on community support, volunteers, and generous donations that have enabled us to introduce the sport of sailing to thousands of children from Salem and surrounding communities. Scholarships enable Sail Salem to ensure that no child gets left on the dock. Visit Sail Salem at sailsalem.org.
