Nina is a beautiful 5 year old spayed girl. She weighs 10 LBS and is Up to Date with vaccines. Nina arrived here at the Northeast Animal Shelter 87 days ago, when her person became ill and was no longer able to care for her. She is a quiet girl. She enjoys playing with string toys and watching the world go by. She is independent and decides when she wants attention. She will wrap herself around your legs, but this is not necessarily an invitation for you to pet her. You need to earn her trust first. Nina is doing much better with allowing people to pet her and will grumble when she has had enough. If you respect her wishes, she will come around a lot faster.
