Cat of the week.

2 year old Dexter was one of 28 cats that were brought from a single home where he and his buddies were well taken care of. He arrived here at the Northeast Animal Shelter back in August, was neutered and shots were updated. When he first arrived he was very shy and would hide all the time. When given some time to adjust, his sweet personality has begun to shine. He is now playful and enjoys playing with string toys. He also loves being petted and eats treats out of hands. Dexter has even found his voice and at times will chatter away. Dexter enjoys the company of other cats, so if your home is looking for a kitty companion, come in and meet Dexter.
