Dog of the week

One Year old Lydia is a playful and energetic Lab and Staffordshire mix gal. She has been spayed and is Up-To-Date with all vaccines. She is currently the longest resident at the Northeast Animal Shelter located at 347 Highland Ave. in Salem, MA. having arrived Oct. 11th 2016. She traveled from Georgia where life is difficult for any dog on the streets. Lydia is well mannered and enjoys playing and running around. At times she does become a bit mouthy, but shows no signs of aggression and is easily redirected. A trainer worked with Lydia and has left some notes for her potential adopters. Lydia is looking for a home with another active dog that can keep up with her during play time. She also enjoys playing ball and meeting new people.
