Christmas Tree Bonfire is Coming Up
The annual event is a way to dispose of your Christmas tree.

The annual Christmas tree bonfire is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9 at Dead Horse Beach on Memorial Drive.
Residents can leave their Christmas trees curbside as the regularly scheduled trash day beginning on Jan. 5. If you want to make sure your tree is part of the bonfire, you should leave it at the entrance to Dead Horse Beach after Jan. 2 or bring it to the bonfire. You should remove all decorations and lights from your tree.
If there is inclement weather, the bonfire will be pushed back to the same time on Saturday, Jan. 10.
