Coastal Ocean Science Academy Summer Camp
Summer Camp at Northeastern's Marine Science Center

The Coastal Ocean Science Academy (COSA) is a marine science summer day program that aims to introduce and connect young people to local marine and coastal habitats and the factors that shape them. The program is based at Northeastern University’s Marine Science Center on the rocky shore of Nahant, and also includes off-site field trips to field locations both on and off the water. COSA provides students with the unique opportunity to perform hands-on experiments in the field and learn what it means to be a marine scientist through the exploration of a variety of habitats.
In 2016, we are offering a weeklong middle school program, as well as one introductory and one advanced high school program. This year, the middle school program will run from July 11th through the 15th, and the high school program will run from August 8th to 19th. There are full and partial scholarships available for those who are eligible.
