Cocaine Seized In Salem Bust Of Suspected North Shore Drug Ring

Everett police said 375 grams of cocaine and $14,000 were seized in the bust involving Everett, Peabody, Salem and DEA police.

SALEM, MA — A drug ring suspected of distributing cocaine in and around the North Shore was disrupted with the seizure of cocaine and cash from a Salem home and the arrest of a man who will be charged with cocaine trafficking, according to police.

Everett police said officers from that city, Salem, Peabody and the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force 2 executed the search warrant and seized about 375 grams of suspected cocaine and about $14,000, as well as various drug processing paraphernalia.

Police said one man — whom they did not identify — was arrested and will be charged with trafficking in cocaine.

"The Everett Police Department and its partners continue to work together to help slow the flow of narcotics in and around the City of Everett and surrounding communities," Everett police said.
