Country Music Fest at Salem Willows
Live country music at Salem Willows from August 28-August 30!
Dust off your cowboy hat, pull on your boots and round up a posse for three days of bands, brews and barbecue at Salem Willows Country Fest. To kick off the event, organizers are offering free admission on Friday from 12-4 p.m.
The event will be jam-packed with live country music and line dancing Aug. 28-30 in Salem Willows Park. Save your appetite for succulent BBQ favorites like pulled pork, BBQ jerk shrimp and tender ribs all weekend long.
Hold on tight and try to outlast your friends during daily Mechanical Bull Competitions. Racing Pigs will entertain crowds as they run around the track at “Hog Speedway.”

The event features live music from open to close on all three days. National and regional country bands will perform, including Houston Bernard, Darren Bessette, Tim Charron, Brandon LePere, Thirty 6 Red and Southern Drawl Band to name a few. There also will be line dancing lessons on Saturday and Sunday.
There are plenty of activities keep the young ones entertained, and adults will find their favorite beverage in beer and wine gardens.

Country Fest runs Aug. 28-30 at Salem Willows Park, located at 187 Fort Avenue in Salem. Doors open at noon on Friday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30 and11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30.
A special free admission is offered on Friday from 12-4 p.m. and $5 otherwise with children 10 and under free. A portion of proceeds will benefit the City of Salem Parks & Recreation Department.
