Cowboy Up at the Salem Willows This Weekend
Country Fest runs from Friday through Sunday.

The North Shore might be known more for sailing and seafood, but this weekend, Country Fest is bringing a little Southern charm to the Salem Willows.
Country Fest begins on Friday and runs through the weekend.
The event promises three days of live country music and line dancing, finger-licking BBQ, a mechanical bull riding competition, racing pigs at the hog speedway, a beer and wine garden, and fireworks on Saturday night.

There will be free admission to the fest on Friday from noon to 4 p.m., and a $5 admission for the remainder of the weekend.
There will be live country music throughout the three days of the event, which runs from noon to 10 p.m. on Friday, noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Some of the acts scheduled to appear include the Houston Bernard Band on Friday, the Southern Drawl Band on Saturday, and New Hampshire native Brandon LePere closing out the festival on Sunday.
