Hi, I’m Gabe, and I’m a superstar …. Athlete that is! Yup, I can run, jump, sprint, and do just about anything faster, higher, and better than any dog you’ve ever met. Don’t let the fact that I’m only 30 lbs fool you, I’m a lean, mean endurance machine! If I were in the NFL, I’d be the smallest rookie running back drafted in the first round that could blast through a defensive line full of 300lb backs to score one game-winning touchdown after another. Pow! But just like all championship athletes, I needed to work hard at training camp. So, I went for three weeks in August, just like the NFL pros do. There, I studied the playbook, learned the rules, and I’ve got my commands memorized. Now, all I need is the right coach to maximize my talents! Could you be my Bill Belichick? Yeah, you may need to remind me of the rules sometimes because I can let all this talent go to my head, but I need that leadership to stay on top of my game. And like any great athlete, I’m a total team player! I have tons of buddies here, and we train and play in the yard daily, so if you’ve got another active dog (or several), I’m all in! I’m also wicked smart, so I need to be challenged. What can you come up with? Will you take me on hikes, make me your training partner for the Boston Marathon, and teach me to run beside your mountain bike? Then, we can share a power nap (okay, I’ll admit it, I also love to snuggle, but don’t tell my bros), and a long car ride (I like to sit on your lap, too). Come in, meet me, and let’s be a winning team together! Because of my high energy level, I’d do best in a home without small children.
