10 Month old Ellie is seeking a forever home with a loving family. She is a Labrador & Hound Mix Female and weighs in at 56 pounds. Ellie arrived at the Northeast Animal Shelter at the end of August. She was nervous, shy and scared. We have seen her confidence grow by leaps and bounds. Ellie's favorite thing to do is go on playdates with other dogs. She loves playing tag, going for zoomies and will roll over belly up to the other dogs. Ellie continues to do well with people too. She just needs a moment or two to come over to say hi. A great volunteer was able to bring Ellie home for the day. She snuggled with Celia and her dogs on the bed, rode well in the car and went right into the crate when asked. Ellie shows nervousness when she comes across new and unfamiliar things, such as skateboards and bikes. She will try to hide in a bush, or behind her person.
