8 Month old Sander is staying at the Northeast Animal Shelter while searching for a forever home. He is a big teenage Lab mix weighing in at 45 pounds. Sander is sweet, but on the shy side. Currently he is working on walking on leash, as he tends to lie down and not move. However, we have noticed that he will walk when another dog walks with him, so if you have a dog or dogs in the home we believe they would help him build his confidence. Everything seems so new to Sander, the sights, sounds and smells. For now they seem to be a bit overwhelming to him. Saunder may prefer the country life, he is definitely not one for a busy city life in places such as Boston. He has been neutered and is up to date.
