1 year old Roxy arrived at the Northeast Animal Shelter back in January. She is shy of strangers and is not used to being left alone for long periods of time. With that being said, Roxy makes friends fast. Once she knows someone, her happy silly self comes out and she will gladly play fetch, run zoomies in the yard and go for walks. Roxy will use her crate safely when left alone, but when left alone with free reign of the house she will chew on shoes. They must be put away in a closet with the door closed.
Roxy is a Heeler Mix, is treat motivated and does well during training sessions. She has been spayed and is also up to date with vaccines. If you are interested in meeting Roxy, you can visit her at the Northeast Animal Shelter located in Salem, MA. Visiting hours are Monday through Friday 10-8 and weekends 10-6. You can also view more information online @www.neas.org or call 978-745-9888 and ask to speak with an adoption Counselor.
