2 year old MooMoo and her 1 year old daughter Tiki were rescued in Georgia after living with someone that did not love them and treated them badly. From there they went into a foster home where they were very well loved on and learned that cuddling on laps was a great thing! After spending many months in the wonderful foster home they traveled to Salem, MA. where they currently reside at the Northeast Animal Shelter. MooMoo and Tiki have come a long way since being rescued. When meeting new people they bark and bark, but as soon as you sit down, one will come over and shortly thereafter the other one will come over too see if she can get some love too. Within a brief period of time Tiki will be sitting on your lap. Although MooMoo is currently not a lap dog, they both enjoy being pat all over and will roll over for belly rubs. Tiki also freely gives out kisses and will head nudge you if you stop patting her. They both enjoy running around outside and playing tug-of-war. They also get along well with both cats and dogs and they love riding in a car. MooMoo and Tiki are spayed, microchipped and up to date with vaccines.
If you are interested in adopting MooMoo and Tiki, (They are well bonded and must go home together) you can meet them at their shelter in Salem, MA. Visiting hours are Monday-Friday 10-8 and weekends 10-6. You can also view more available pets on the shelter website @ www.neas.org
